Wholesale Pokerchips Blog
In Poker, the hands order never changes, whether you’re playing with plastic poker chips at home or clay poker chips at the casino. Here they are from highest to lowest:
Straight flush: Five cards of the same suit, in order. The rarest and best hand in poker is the royal flush, which moves from ace to ten of the same suit.
Four of a kind: If there’s a tie, the highest four of a kind wins, or, in community games, the kicker wins.
Full House: Three of a kind and a pair.
Flush: Five suited cards – all clubs, for example.
Straight: Half of the best hand in poker, all you need are the cards to go in order; suit doesn’t matter. Aces can be played high or low, unless specified.
Three of a kind: This is a great hand, but don’t overlook straight or flush draws in your excitement.
Two pair: Just like it sounds.
One pair: half of the above.
High card: The highest card can win it if no one has any of the above.
If you ever run into dispute over who wins a hand, high cards always win.
