Greatest Poker Songs
It’s amazing how poker is such an inspiration for so many. Some of the greatest moments of cinema revolve around a poker game and many of those scenes became instant classics.
But poker is also very much present in popular music, in any genre possible, from country to rock and even country, many performers sing about cards.
Many great classics were written about gambling. One of my favorite is Blood, Sweat and Tears’ Go Down Gamblin’. This is some mean rock n’ roll full of ups and downs, just like a good game of cards:
Oh Kenny… You might sing about The Gambler, but when you say “Every gambler knows that the secret to survivin’ is knowin’ what to throw away and knowing what to keep” you give us all a life lesson.
Not sure what Lady Gaga means when she sings “Cause I’m bluffin’ with my muffin”, but Poker Face is a modern classic whether you like it or not.

5 Tips for a Better Poker Face
When you’re playing with poker chip sets, it’s important to have a good poker face.
1. Relax: No matter what you do, you can’t change the way the cards fall. Have a good time and enjoy yourself.
2. Slow down: If you’re going to speak, make sure that you don’t give away any emotions. Don’t allow your face to display an expression – instead, bluff with your eyes. Don’t act sad when you have good cards either.

Jake Cody, Another Young Poker Supplies King
We’ve seen a lot of youngins these days take the lead in clay poker chips. The Best Hands in Poker
In Poker, the hands order never changes, whether you’re playing with plastic poker chips at home or clay poker chips at the casino. Here they are from highest to lowest:
Straight flush: Five cards of the same suit, in order. The rarest and best hand in poker is the royal flush, which moves from ace to ten of the same suit.
Four of a kind: If there’s a tie, the highest four of a kind wins, or, in community games, the kicker wins.
Full House: Three of a kind and a pair.
Flush: Five suited cards – all clubs, for example.
Straight: Half of the best hand in poker, all you need are the cards to go in order; suit doesn’t matter. Aces can be played high or low,unless specified.
Three of a kind: This is a great hand, but don’t overlook straight or flush draws in your excitement.
Two pair: Just like it sounds.
One pair: half of the above.
High card: The highest card can win it if no one has any of the above.

Tell Tale Signs
I have fond memories of clay poker chips stacking in front of me as my friends and I sat at our card table, tense and watchful, noticing rising eyebrows and flaring nostrils.
When spotting tells, it’s important to pay attention to the most minute details. You don’t want to focus too much on your cards, because that gives your opponents more to work with, and it distracts your attention from them.
A lot of players act. If you can spot their acting after one hand, chances are they’re doing it again during the next. Do the opposite of what they want you to do.
In other situations, you may be able to spot how they play a hand. Any difference in a couple of hands will alert you to their tells, and you can play them accordingly.
Note when:
• They twitch when they get their cards
• They slide their cards back under their chips
• They are getting their chips ready to bet

WSOP Roundup
As of Friday, here’s the WSOP update: With 78 players left, Theo Jorgensen is the leader. He garnered a stack of nearly 8.5 m clay poker chips from Fokke Beukers, whom he sent packing. With Beukers calling him over a million chips by the turn, Jorgensen bet 600,000 when a King of spades was laid down and Beukers checked. When Beukers went all in, with just a pair of kings, the 4 of clubs didn’t help him any compared to Jorgensen’s two pair.
Michael Mizrachi also had a great Day 6, jumping up to the number 2 spot. Mizrachi played consistently well, moving from under 2 million to 7.5 million, collecting chips throughout the day. His brother Robert was sent home when he went in with 196,000 clay poker chips. With an ace 10, suited, Josue Sauvageau’s suited ace king suited him. A weak flop, turn, and meaningless river meant that Sauvageau won it on a higher hand.
